Engagement, creativity, innovation and inspiration.

- How important is research in practice?

- Do designers still use sketchbooks?

- Is there enough time to work on projects that are not profit driven?

These issues will be debated by key members of the design community 

and academic staff from the School of Art and Design in this symposium.
